5. You go to the Range and ask for a bucket of balls and the guy behind the counter Says,WHAT FOR?

3/24/2011 6:25:54 PM I've done #3 myself... I always put Shaun #(1 for the first ball of the round, 2 for the second, et cetera) and I have pretty good handwriting... overshot the par-3 3rd hole at Briar Ridge GC in Montrose, MI once, couldn't find it, had to go back and rehit... 6 days later... playing the same course, same hole.... overshoots the green again, finds my ball (which was my 1st of the day that day) and what do I find next to it? The ball I lost 6 days earlier (which was my 3rd of the day that day)... there was NO mistaking that it was indeed my crappy ball. LOL Shaun |

3/24/2011 10:13:43 AM #3 has been done by me, as a matter of fact I put a JH on all my balls. Went to the course the week after buying a new box of balls and (lost about 6 of them) just marked with JH and found one of my JH balls in the re-sale bucket on the proshop counter. I told the manager that it was mine and took it, he laughed and didn't say anything about me taking it. |
