Saw this and though it was amazing that only 2 rooms didn't get burned 1 that housed all the family photos and 1 that housed all Aaron's golf memorabilia dating back to 1999.  Amazing!

Less than two weeks after Aaron Baddeley's breakthrough victory at the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles, the three-time PGA Tour winner learned that his parents home in Australia burned down, according to multiple media reports.

The fire happened in the middle of the night and everyone escaped but the house sustained severe damage.

"I just got up and heard the smoke alarm go off and looked inside and saw a nice red glow there and the house was pretty much on fire in the ceiling," Aaron's father Ron told Australia's Herald Sun newspaper.

On his Twitter account, Aaron Baddeley said he got updates about the fire from his sister.

"2 min to get out 2 rooms were untouched! fam photos and my golf room with memoribilla [sic]! Amazed by God's protection 22 years of memories there," he tweeted.

Baddeley is not in the field for this week's Honda Classic. He is likely to play next week at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.
