Did any of you watch the show tonight? It was the one on his course Trump National Philadelphia. I have watched his shows before but generally they are match events between athletes or actors or something.
Tonight he played with 3 members from the new course and I beleive all three were scratch players. It was a 30 minute show.
In the 30 minute show I saw him a) talking to his partner while someone was swinging, b) line up a putt AND putt in front of his opponent while he was trying to putt, c) leave his partner behind and take the golf cart ahead just to see where the ball was and made him walk (the point was made this was a somewhat common occurence) and d) on the last hole he literally picked up his ball from 20ft and dropped it at 6 inches before the other 3 got up there. He putted it in to "win" the hole and match.
All through the show the other players continually apologized for him (to the tv audience) claiming it was his desire to win that drove him to do these things.
I will never have the chance to play golf with Donald Trump and now I know that I wouldn't even if I had the chance. He had no respect for the game, his partner or his opponents.
I'd love to hear your comments especially if you say the show. If you haven't, watch it and tell me if I'm being too harsh.

3/1/2011 12:18:06 PM Does anyone remember who the club members were? My uncle is a member over there and I know a bunch of the guys. One guy there has played on the Euro tour and Euro senior tour. There are some really good players and it's a pretty tough course. I hear the changes make it that much tougher. |

3/1/2011 9:20:14 AM I played the course before he bought it. He definitely made some nice changes, especially to the clubhouse. Trump is right, it looked like a ski lodge. However, Trump is so arrogant and all about himself that I think if I was a member there that I would have given him a piece of my mind had he acted the way he did in the filming. I guess having money allows you to be a jerk at all times. |

3/1/2011 7:01:36 AM Thought it was pretty classless as well. Just play the game like you're supposed to. It's not rocket science. |

2/28/2011 10:16:28 PM I thought during the show, "I'm not that interested in playing a round with anyone that plays that way. No matter WHO they are." |
