Not how many of you saw the 2nd shot Baddeley hit on 17 Sunday. After hitting a horrible tee shot into the wrong fairway, he pulls of shot of a lifetime. He smokes a 3 wood between 2 tall trees and cuts it about 50 yards or more to put him right in front of the green
Had he hit one of those trees, his 2 shot lead at the time could have easily been erased. Way to go, man! First tour victory for the young man in 4 years. There just is no dominate player in the world right now. Another great tourney for Vijay. Glad to see him playing well.

2/21/2011 10:29:26 PM He had no choice, really. AND if anybody noticed, he can hit a cut whenever he wants, so the play was a smart one for him. But still ... what a shot! He must've cut that 3-wood 100 yards. That definitely was the best shot he hit all day. |
