The officials from Dubai have fined Woods for Spiiting on the green during final round Sunday.
Now I play golf with some pretty rude guys. Between the constant F bombs, Burping after chugging half a beer, or even taking a leak behind a small tree right behind some houses. But I have never seen anything as disrespectful as spitting on the green.
SHame on you Tiger. It took a long time for Woods's true colors to come out. After spending most of his life in the spotlight, in the last 18 months the public can finnaly see the a$%hole for what he really is. A lying, cheating, disrespectfull human being.
I'm sorry, but I cant continue to be a supporter of Tiger Woods. Other than the fact that he is one of the greatest golfers of all, he is not anything even close to what I would consider as a role model for my children.

2/14/2011 5:15:17 PM Scott. Name one professional athlete in any sport that you would consider as a role model for your children and Ill find a few stories about them. Point is, you should not let any "media" magnet sports or otherwise be a role model for your children. You should be the role model. You don't have to be a sports star or hollywood star for them to grow up with the right referents in life. |

2/14/2011 1:44:40 PM It was on the putting green and that is the problem because it violates the players code of conduct policy that's why they are giving a fine. It's ok to spit if not on the green. |

2/14/2011 11:16:55 AM He's also an alcoholic, drug user, drug dealer, rapist, child molester, murderer, thief, arsonist, counterfeitter, racist, not to mention he cheated on his wife and spat on the golf course. Obviously not perfect. But someone who had a vision, a dream, FOCUSED, complete dedication as a child and an adult to be the best. I wonder how much good he as done in way of charity. Not the nicest of human beings but certainly not a menance to society. In my oppionion, I wouldn't want Tiger as a role model in all facets of my children's life but a role model in dedication, inspiration, self leading, aggressiveness towards his goals, depth of vision, etc. |

2/14/2011 10:27:22 AM As for Tiger. I think he's always been like this. It's similar to high school/college star athletes. A sense of entitlement. Personally, I think if you hold these people up to be role models for your kids; yourdoingitwrong! |

2/14/2011 10:25:24 AM For what it's worth. I spit a lot. I would think in the windy desert of Dubai, nobody had to worry about Tiger's spit lingering on the green. I think it's pretty ridiculous. For us avg. Joe golfers, we have to deal with goose turds, cigar butts, pitch marks, etc. |

2/14/2011 10:22:40 AM He's going to be fined for spitting. They didn't specify that he was spitting on the green. However, I think it was a radio commentator that said he was spitting on the green. |
