I just wanted to let everyone know that the Golf Week Tour was kicking off on 2-12-11.  I've played in this league for 6 or 7 years and it's a lot of fun.  It's stroke play tournaments and is flighted by your handicap. Championship 0-5, A 6-10, B 11-15, C 16-20, and D 20+.  It can get expensive, but we do get to play several private courses on Saturdays.  As stated, the season starts soon and will finish with the finals in October in Hilton Head.  The top ten in each flight from the different leagues across the country will compete for the overall title.

    There's only have one week left for the Early Bird Sign up and chance to save some money... membership for new members is $75.  Note effective 2/7 they will go to NEW $85.  This year the goodie bag will consist of the following: GOLF WEEK magazine subscription,  Golf Week Amatuer tour Antigua Shirt,  Golf Week Tour Hat, and bag tag.  Once you join the tour, you can play at any of the leagues around the country: Myrtle Beach, Up State, Hilton Head, Augusta, Charleston and many more across the country. 

   So to have a little fun and get together we will have EARLY BIRD SIGN UP next sat 2/5 at the HOOTERS REST OFF OF TWO NOTCH RD..... We will start about 1200 noon... Free wings, Beer soda and raffles of golf stuff ex: dozen of golf balls and some other things.
