I think it is predestined.

8/30/2010 7:51:08 AM I don't expect people who are just tied for the lead on Thursday to win tourneys. There is too much golf left to play. I wouldn't have classified this tourney as blowable to begin with. If Tiger had a large lead on Saturday, or a lead on Sunday, but lost, then I'd call it blown. Therefore, Laird blew this tourney. |

8/29/2010 5:11:12 PM I don't know about 'predestined' but I would say that what happened is pretty typical of a player trying to put his game back together. First you see bad golf. Then you see some good golf mixed in with bad golf. Then you see some good rounds being put together. Then you see four rounds put together for the first time. And finally, you see a player playing well for weeks at a time. Tiger has at times in the past skipped steps (or maybe more accurately he progressed through these steps in practice between tournaments). At other times (such as making swing changes) we've seen all these steps with each taking weeks to months to complete. Seems like what we saw this week was the first signs of stage 3 (some good rounds being put together). |

8/29/2010 12:30:01 AM Jackie Sherril said it best during his first season at Texas A&M, and it applies to the Tiger haters right now: Get your shots in while you can. |

8/28/2010 11:51:50 PM Yeah, Tiger's not back. He'll never win again. His major total will forever stay at 14. All you Tiger haters can sleep tonight. morons |

8/28/2010 9:42:35 PM probably so..but Tiger is one of few people that once he figures things out he comes back on the prowl. Wouldn't surpise me to see him fall out of the playoffs then turn it around next year. |
