Remember her? Sandra Gal, this beauty from Germany scored her first win on the LPGA tour going toe to toe with Jiyah Shin on the final 18. To those of you that watched it you know what I am talking about and to those of you that didn't let me tell you it was exciting. It was better than watching the PGA Tour. I know the course is shorter but these girls knocked the pins down all day long. You seldom saw them in the rough or the water. They are somewhat methodical (Sandra called Jiyah a machine) but they are good. Sandra won with a birdie on 18 where she put her 80 yard approach shot 14 inches (yes inches) from the flag after Jiyah put hers four within 5 feet. Congratulations Sandra.
