ARTICLE III
Member Rules

Section 1.
The USGA Rules of Golf should govern all play. All rounds should be played to the best of your ability.

Section 2.
All scores should be posted in accordance with the USGA handicap system. Please try to post within 3 days of play. All 9 hole and 18 hole rounds should be posted.

Section 3.
All tournament scores need to be posted using the Hole-by-Hole method. This way you can enter your gross scores and the website will automatically control the ESC system. Make sure the tees, course rating/slope, date you played is all correct when posting scores. If the correct tees or score card is not available on the website please follow the directions on the website to have them added. All tournament scores shall be attested.

Note: Starting January 1, 2016, all score posted for handicap purposes must be with another player or witness to the round. Single rounds played alone are not acceptable for handicap purposes. All players are encouraged, but not required, to have their score cards attested by an accompanying player as verification that the round was not alone and within USGA compliance.

Section 4.
Once you are a member you must accept the chairman as a friend on the site. This is important so that you can communicate easily.

Section 5.
You must have at least a premium (silver) level membership on the website. In addition, your profile must have your correct First and Last Name, Email and correct Zip Code.

Section 6.
The following excerpt is a quote from the USGA definiton of a golf club.

Decision 2/7. Clarification of Compliance/License Issue for Golf Club categories described in the Golf Club Definition.

USGA Playing Requirements and Club Size (Type 3 Only)

"The USGA will consider the playing requirement met if each member returns at least three scores played with other club members during the season, and at least one of those rounds is played in a club sponsored event. Anyone not meeting this minimum requirement should be dropped from the handicap rolls."

Each member is encouraged to play a minimum of three rounds, per season, with another club member as outlined.

Section 7.
These bylaws are mandatory of all members to help ensure we do our part in maintaining the integrity of the USGA Handicap System. Failure to follow any of these bylaws could result in removal from the club.
