Update on the First Annual College of Lake County Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament was held June 3rd at Renwood Golf Course in Round Lake. First off we had 70 players enter the tournament and I must say it was a huge success. Everybody left with something. The first place team won a free trip to the Merit Club (4some). We raised over 10k towards The Veterans Memorial and for the SGT Peck foundation. Special thanks to Mike Zabroski (Wedger) who made the trip up from Arkansas. We are already working towards the 2nd annual Golf Tournament to be held next summer............

    Mike,
I sent you a friend request. It would not allow me to send you a message. The tournament is a 4 man scramble June 3. We will be giving prize money (club house credit) to the first place team for two different flights. The main prize will be given at the end during a raffle. You are automatically entered into the raffle when you pay your entry fee. The entry fee is $80(per person) or $60 if you are a veteran of the armed forces. There will be other contest available during the coarse of the tournament. The main purpose is to have fun and raise money for these great causes. Raffle prizes and/or silent auction prizes include autograghed football helmets, jerseys, footballs, individual golf clubs, free golf rounds. There are alot of prizes to go around. There will also be a pig roast at the end sponsored by Tony's Butcher Shop. This will be for friends and family to enjoy. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks
