So glad spring is FINALLY here! Any members up for a tournament this summer? Let me know.

All - I recently joined LaFortune Men's Golf Association. They will offer 11 tournaments this year as well as Tulsa Golf Association's tournaments. Battle Creek has their Master's Tournament Series set for 4/7/18. I believe your handicap here will work for their flights.

I realize not many of you ever get on this website, but if anyone in the Tulsa area is interested in playing around, give me a call anytime.

Anyone willing to replace me as handicap chairman of this club?

I suppose $14.95/year is a pretty small price to pay for your 'official' handicap if you need an 'official' handicap :)

I've seen many comments posted regarding the picture of the trophy that Rick Hughes won this year at our 1st Annual Club Tourney. Although I didn't put a side view picture of the trophy, on each side of the base there is a space (12 total) for the next year's champion's placard to be placed with the corresponding year that they won so in this way (at least for a total of 12 tournaments) we can pass the trophy on from year to year to that year's champion. After 12 years though (assuming we are a club still) we'll have to do a new trophy or something different. I just thought I'd post this FYI to any who were curious. I just tried to upload the results file in the files section but it didn't work for some reason although it's not too big and it's the correct file type. Anyways, the USGA rule is fulfilled and we are good for 1 calendar year. Will have to do another club tournament sometime in 2010. I ordered the trophy earlier this week.
