When applying for a USGA tournament, I am asked to provide contact information of the person to verify handicap index. I am assuming that is Jason Prior (Club Chair). I need a phone number to put down in that contact section. What number should I put down?

as an FYI - I just completed our club's transition to the new Direct Authorized Club from the USGA.

It is hard to believe there have been no posts here since early 2014. Is everyone awake?

I'm in Brookhaven, anyone like to play a round on the week-ends. I'm game for 9 or 18 holes. I typically play Trophy Club Atlanta or Heritage Golf Links but open to any. Any members in the Vinings / Marietta / Buckhead area interested in a weekday game? I'm open to meeting at any course in the area, within a pensioners' budget.

Are we going to have any tournaments soon? An end of the year tournament was mentioned.

For those of you who have not yet done so - we will have one more tournament this year. This will be your last chance to compete in a Club Sponsored event. Remember that one of the requirements for us to maintain USGA compliance is that each member must compete in at least 1 event per year AND have at least 3 scores attested by another member. I'm putting some finishing touches on a season ending Club Championship. Tentative dates for qualifier tournaments - Aug 20, 21, 27, 28. This is going to be big, trust me. You're not going to want to miss this opportunity (some great prizes), so try to keep you calendars clear for at least one of those dates.
Basic Rules:
4 qualifier tournaments limited to 16 participants each. Winner of each tournaments gets a chance to take home the Atlanta Cup in a Final Round hosted at a top Atlanta golf club (details in process). Entry will be $20 / person.
