5/28/2013 3:05:07 PM New to the group, looking for new golf buddies. I like to play a couple times a week when possible. I live near Rhodes but will play anywhere. In the 4 days I have played Badlands, Desert Pines, Silverstone and Mountain Course and AP. I can say that the hole locations on Desert Pines SUCK. I love fast greens but when holes are cut into slopes it is ridiculous. |

4/25/2013 2:16:48 PM Rhodes Ranch is in pretty good shape right now. They got their greens back pretty well and rolling nice, but dam does their water stink!! haha. Angel Park Palm is nice right now, #16 green is easily the hardest green in vegas! |

3/30/2012 11:22:52 AM The Arroyo course at Red Rock is in decent. Only a few greens are beat up with the rest being in decent shape. Play is a little slow. |

4/1/2011 10:20:37 PM Aliante is in decent shape, greens roll pretty true but don't break as much as expected or read. If you can get a good rate out there it's a good track but not the best shape i have seen it in the past. Have a great weekend. |

3/31/2011 11:05:17 PM Angel Park Mountain is in great shape from tee to green. Angel Park Palm is in pretty good shape but greens are slow and hairy. Palm Valley is in good shape as usual but they did just plug their greens so greens are rough, slow, and not very true. Revere Lexington is in perfect shape, greens are very very fast, probably 12's. Playing Aliante tomorrow and I'll keep you guys all posted so we all know whats good and what's not because when you call the pro shops they all tell you that their greens are the best in town and their course is always in perfect condition when its not. Hopefully some others can post as you play so we all can stay in the know of which courses should be played and which ones should be avoided. Thanks guys and hit em straight or despite what some think, a Bubba cut shot is OK! |
