MY GAME

Happy holidays! hope you all enjoyed your veterans/mashujaa day playing a round of golf.mine was remarkable on a remarkable date 11/11/11.shot my very first under per score of 70(-2).Did not feel any special,missed some easy shots/made some crazy chips.i had a blast and won a sack of skins from a friend.keep hitting them straight!have fun/enjoy your family and stay safe and positve.

Gents! I just want to thank all those who participated in the July 30th tournament. It gave me an opportuity to meet everyone and have fun together. San Dimas is a tough assignment and we hang in there. It is not a long course but it has a knack for bringing seasoned players to their knees. Starting with "Amen Corner" , hole numbers 4,5,6 and 7. Then when you think you are making a run at the tournament cup, you traverse "The Valley of the Dead", holes 15, 16, 17 and 18. It is littered with corpses and coffins of previous tournament winner hopefuls. Sorry to say this out loud Gachanja but your card demonstrates this. I was a candidate with a triple on 16 but I managed to dodge the demons and survivie the last two holes. All in all, I had a blast and look forward to the 20th as a defending champ!

Moze, Mike: It was fun closing out the year with you guys at Los Verdes. What a beautiful course bwana! Lakini, #16 iltufanyia unyama kabisa. My wheels fell off after that. BTW, please confirm the scores. I corrected one score on #12 to a Par on my card. It may have been correct on the card you had. Asanteni na nawaombea krismasi iliyo na furaha tele.

Marto.. The guy shoots 80 and had 5 penalty strokes. I think this is all a hoax... lol... The way we have been thinking bwana Chairman is a nice guy for planning these tournas.. Kumbe, he is planning them so he can win all of them.... Anyway, J/K.

We now have the minimum 10 members. I have initiated the process of obtaining a license from the USGA.

Once we hit 10 people who have registered, I will apply for our USGA License so we can issue Handicaps via our club.

Wapigaji Golf! It is up. I will be applying for our USGA status soon. It takes 2 to 8 weeks for approval. We will then be able to provide USGA handicaps for our members. Please ask other Kenyan golfers to apply to join.
