We got our handicaps!

i just talked to one of the members @ the PLGA of Southern California and he approved the application while we were on the phone and sent it off to the usga. joe should be getting some kind of email or package in the mail soon.

Also, i was talking to the guy from the PLGA and he mentioned that even though we are getting our handicap from stracka, we are not OFFICIALLY a part of the PLGA. And talking with that guy, it seems like it'd be good to be an official member of the PLGA by paying dues. Dues are cheap, around $15-$23 and if you dont know, the PLGA was IMPORTANT in making sure the LA Zoo didn't away Hole#17 @ Harding. They work w/ the LA city council on a lot of golf related issues in the LA area so i think we can all afford to "donate" or pay those low dues.

What do you all think? I dont think we all have to join but i would need at least 10 people willing to do it.or package in the mail soon.
