We found this little fella sunning himself on Saturday morning May 14th. Being a baby it was almost too friendly. Lets hope he stays that way when he grows up.

This pic has got some attention on here. Well this angle shows off the "Specactles" which give the species its name. Cobras are cool and have a nasty reputation but really only when cornered or you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. On this occasion this cobra posed for us and then we let him go. I would not stick around when he grows up to his full 6 ft adult length.
