what a mess. I once played with a friend in a tournament and he took a 23. He won $250 for high blind hole.

I re-watched it on the Golf Channel last night and after the second time it was even harder to watch. After his second tee shot did he not have the option to take an "unplayable" and go back to the tee yet again? Might of been better. I think his caddy sauid something to that effect.

on pga.com it's listed now at a 16, he was 11 over on the front and ended up shooting an 80 (+8). when i first checked it, they had it marked as a 14

He was off in the woods and actually hit himself once with the ball. Then missed the ball and swung under it. Hit a few more tress then got it out on like his 14th shot or somewhere near that number. But he is still not in last place in the tournament. It's on the Golf Channel right now.
