6/17/2011 7:12:15 PM Thanks GJ and Rob. Yeah, when I throw 75 from the blue tees, I've left a lot of shots out there. #1, #2, and #3 are all downwind birdie holes, as are #13, #14, and #15. So you have the opportunity to get off to a fast start and then get some momentum on the back 9 as well. From the gold tees, though, 75 isn't quite as bad. |

6/17/2011 3:51:13 PM not a bad round. gotta be cool when a 75 can still be a lot better. good job, Tim. looks like your putting was better today. |

6/17/2011 12:16:36 AM That sounds like the way I been playing too. You were in position to shoot 70. |

6/16/2011 11:16:29 PM Well, I just missed a lot of shots that I don't usually miss. Missed a short birdie on #3. Over-clubbed my 3rd shot on #6...ball looked great in the air but finished long...that's the one place you can't miss that green at. Flared my 2nd on #9 and hit an awful pitch to 20 feet. Flared my 2nd on #10 too. Granted, those are tough holes into the wind but they were simple shots into the greens and I just didn't stay down and through. #16 was just bad all the way. #18 I thinned my chip and had 15 feet for par, missed. Lot of my GIR's were long two-putts...didn't give myself many chances at birdie. Definitely not hitting shots the way I'm used to hitting them! But honestly, can't really complain about a 75 if I'm not playing that well. |
