10/7/2017 1:00:15 PM Played solo. King City was too crowded, that the starter said I wouldn't be able to finish. So I hopped over to Summerfield and it was pretty much wide open. Played the round in just over an hour and finished just as it was getting too dark! I had a decent round, no blow ups, but couldn't make any up/down putts and couldn't hit mid irons at ALL, hence no GIR. But I had 2 INCREDIBLE recovery shots. On 1, I was trying to chip around a tree, instead I went directly in to it....but it got bounced up and over PERFECTLY on the green to within 6 feet of the cup. Then I had a great recovery through the trees on 3 with ZERO margin of error. |
