I noticed that a few weeks ago as I was looking at perhaps playing there. According to an article online, the property is for sale for development, like there isn't enough housing in that area already.

Don't get me started. My Home Club of 20 years is closing it's doors for good on June 30th. A developer is building condos on it and I will be crying myself to sleep for a month. Totally sucks!

Is this the one Dirk was referring to a couple months ago ? Yes, but the deal I knew about didn't pan out. I hate to see courses get developed, but this course is truly a dump and will not be missed by many. Historical Note: first minority owned course in the country. I believe it is also listed as such at the USGA museum. |
