Today I played a course for the first time. The white tee boxes were playing at 5900 yds which we thought was a bit short. The blue tee's were at 6650 which is much too long for us. We wound up playing a rotating white -blue round which is not a choice on the card. How would I go about posting this round, or just forget about it.

Have you tried submitting a support ticket?

If you really wanted to post I'd do it as 2 separate 9 hole rounds. Do the one you played 5 holes from the blues from as blue tees, and the 9 you played 5 holes from the white as white tees. I've played red-white-blue events before where I'll just choose white, but since you've only got 2 tees and 18 holes, that's the course of action I'd take.

My guess is that it is a round that you can't post. Chalk it up to a practice round. Without a proper slope and rating, you just played a practice round. Next time, choose one or the other.

Yes. What CoG and AZ Said. But since you already played and alternated the tees throughout the round you can't count it.

Ok, thank you, Played a different tee every other hole, so can't post two separate nines. I'll forget about this one.

"Technically" you are supposed to post the score and it is covered in the USGA Section 5-2g. It is an involved process and quite frankly I would probably just forget it also. But since you asked if there was a way to post the score the correct answer is yes. Here is a link to an article that explains it:

While I agree with your statement and the article, posting the score may be a bit difficult. When posting a score on this website, you are asked to choose a set of tees ... only one. There used to be a way to create a set of tees but I think that has been removed ... correct me if I'm wrong. So, even though he may go through the proper calculations to "create" a tee box to post from, the system won't allow you to do so. So, the score can't be posted. Again, correct me if I am mistaken.

I knew that. What I meant was that if you alternated between blue or white every hole, you would have played one 9 having played 5 holes from blue and the other 9 you would have played 5 holes from white. If you played the Front 9 with 5 blue holes, post it as blue... if you played the Front with 5 white holes, post it as white.

But it probably is simpler to just not post.

Look for "manual entry" when searching for a course.

AZ- I believe it can be entered manually or if not the score and stats should be able to be submitted to admin and they can enter it into your handicap scoring records. Like I said it is a lot of work and I can't see that one score would be that important for most amateurs but if someone was trying to become more aligned with professional status it would be important to log all rounds as required by the USGA.
