So, yesterday we were playing at Cleburne Golf Links. Beautiful day. We were preparing to tee off on number 15. My wife was on the tee playing the red tees when she picks up her ball and moves off the tee. She comes over and asks me "what's he doing?" I look up and there is a guy that has walked up onto the tee behind her, teed up his ball and is preparing to tee off. We had just let a couple play through but were not behind. He is literally ready to tee off so we do the only logical thing, we let him and his playing partner play through. The guy takes a mighty swing and completely misses the ball. He slices his next shot where he can't see it so he tees up another ball. After he and his partner finish teeing off the second guy comes up to us and apologizes; "I'm very sorry. I didn't realize he was going to do that." They were not originally together, just ended up together since they were separate singles. Anyway, after they get to the green, the second guy that was mortified apparently told the moron that he was going to go on so he took off and played as a single again. I have never run into someone so clueless on the golf course. This guy apparently never learned any etiquette at all. Other than that, we had a great day on the golf course.

Proper golf etiquette requires the use of spellchecker on all internet posts.

You misspelled golf in the title.

You would be amazed at how much over the years golf etiquette is lacking with all the new pick up the pace play times. I paid my money let me play slow if I want and I will let you play through. Same thing if I am playing faster than you, let me through so I am not making you hurry, what ever happened to those days?
