My wife and I just finished a bucket list golf trip to Erin Hills and Kohler. We played all four courses at Kohler as well as the course at Erin Hills. Our favorite courses were: Whistling Straits, Erin Hills and the Irish in that order. The Meadows was nice and fun and we thought the River course was too contrived and hard. Highly recommend the trip to anyone in the Midwest. It is well worth the trip.

Sounds like you two had fun. I would love to play Erin Hills and Whisteling Straits some day.
