... I might convert to THE CLAW!!!

Sure, I know ... it's early. But DLIII needs to write in ink Phil/Keegan and Zach/Dufner for tomorrow's foursomes. And he needs to break TW's driver ... if Stricker hasn't already done so (I would've!).

Tiger needs to SIT second session today. He is stinking it up bad. Not to mention him a Stricker look flat. Don't break his driver, but throw that NIKE putter into the local pond.

Sneds just learned what Ryder Cup pressure is all about.

You aren't kidding. What a choke drive that was. I will take Sneds at this point over Tiger though.

Tiger's just all over the place. He's out of synch and the magic is starting to go away with him and Strick. Time to move strick over with DJ.

The only woods that Tiger is hitting well, is the trees that are bouncing his balls back into play. Ouch! He needs a Time Out this afternoon.

Totally agree. I wish Davis Love had some balls and sat Tiger & Stricker. At least split them up. Beginning to wonder if anyone else wants to partner with Tiger. Tiger anymore would make a stock market chart look simple. The rollercoaster ride with him is getting tough to watch. The drama behind every average or bad shot is almost annoying to watch. Not good.

Love should just send Eldrick home with a fake injury. At least that would ensure a half point for the Sunday singles match.

Europe 2nd session line up without Donald, Poulter, & Garcia appears to be a bad captain decision. How do you leave these guys out? Get the momentum and sit them out once tomorrow. Crazy decision.

Tiger is getting lit up for going 0-2. The first one was bad play...the second one was to a man on fire!

You said it Robert, I might go to the claw as well. Taking a person that was a great putter already and him getting better at it makes a guy think. Time to sit Tiger on the bench. Even Michael Jordan hit the bench when he was off his game

LL....His Ryder Cup record speaks volumes. His last 6 weeks of play are pretty damn up and down as well. He had a 6' putt to even the match today and couldn't execute. On 18? Same. The other Tiger made those putts. One thing we learned again today is Tiger is now just another player to the others. Colsaerts proved that. Hopefully Tiger went to school on all the putts Colsaerts bombed on him.

The claw. Here's what Phil needs to do for marketing purposes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v..

Just shave your head, claim you're "Baron von Mickelson" from Germany, and make that hand motion repeatedly. Insist on playing for the European team. It would be the first and biggest heel turn in golf history. End every interview like this guy did, advancing toward the camera. Phil would be golf's second billionaire.

Obviously Tiger played like crap today, mostly the morning before he and Strick ran into Colsaerts, but while we're ripping on Woods, remember, Stricker wasn't exactly helping him out either. The morning was absolutely awful on both Tiger and Steve's part. I can't believe Love put them out again in the afternoon in the same team. And sure, even though they played better, they still lost. That 1 DN loss counts the same as Lawrie and Hanson getting beaten like 18 & 17 or whatever it was.

As far as Mickelson and Bradley, they completely lit the fuse under the US team. When Keegan made the putt on #16 in the morning to win the match, you could tell Phil was almost startled at the relentless enthusiasm coming out of Bradley. They were unbelievable today and have to play both sessions on Saturday. They were so good today that they probably could have taken down Ballesteros/Olazabal in their prime with ease.

TIGER SITS! TIGER SITS! TIGER SITS!

Thank gawd. Give the man a rest already.

Saturday morning foursomes:
Rose/Poulter vs. Webb Simpson/Bubba
Westwood/Donald vs. Bradley/The Claw
Colsaerts/Sergio vs. Zach Dufner
Ronald McDonald/G-hack vs. Furyk/Snedeker

... and I say whatever, so long as I don't have to watch TW hitting balls into tents, fences, trees or wherever else so that poor Stricker has to bail his A out again. It will be very interesting to see if Snedeker can stop hitting balls off the tee/fairway like Tiger, and I'm not sure how much I like our first or last pairings, but DL3 knows what he's doing. He's got us to 5-3, and all along I hoped for a 9-7 lead heading into singles ... he's almost got us there, so go USA!

Three more quick things:

1. If Keegan keeps it up, can we make him an automatic qualifier for the next five Ryder Cups?

2. Let's see what a rested TW/Stricker can do in that afternoon four-ball. I'm not calling a shot here; if they get 5 and 4ed, how could anyone be shocked? But I can't help but wonder how the dirty euro will like playing a veteran USA squad that's had time to recharge and is ready to get back out there in front of a primed home crowd.

3. Of course I'm not really going to use THE CLAW! I have always and will always use the grip God and Ben Crenshaw intended us to. But for two more days, we need Lefty to keep it up.

THE CLAW! THE CLAW! THE CLAW!
