So, I sit here waiting for something to do at work because they haven't got this or that yet so I can't start what they want me to do.

What do you guys/gals do at work when there isn't a thing to do?

Boy that sounds nice! Truthfully, I've never experienced that, but it sounds wonderful.

My problem is being able to allow myself some leisure time without feeling guilty for not being productive. So you see, you guys are an important part of my 'therapy'.

If there is a way to improve your personal skill related to work, that's what I'll be doing.

If you have no clue, ask your superior at work or check with human resource dept. maybe there is some company program already in place.

Use your time at work wisely, for one they'll know what you do with your Cyber time, for two why not try to improve on your position at work.

If you don't take advantage of the opportunity getting paid to improve yourself, you're not interested in move up in life.

Dem that's the problem, next step is management.....EWWWW.....and I sure as shit don't want to be a manager. I enjoy what I do, immensely. They just either don't always have work for me to do or don't have the "contracts" set up to do it yet.... Even if I went to my manager he's going to tell me to start looking over the stuff I'll be doing once I get the "money" I need to be allowed to start working it....

It's a dance we like to do with the government/contractor....
