I had the chance to play Calusa Pines on Naples this past Monday. Amazing course- by far the best golf course I have played in the state of Florida. The owner took a piece of land that only had 6 inches of elevation change and now it is a series of rolling hills with 60 feet of elevation changes.
If this site would accept my photos I would post them, but alas it must be using floppy disk technology. Calusa Pines is ranked within the Top 100 Golf Courses In the USA- and is considered to be #3 in Florida behind Seminole and TPC Sawgrass. IMO it’s better than TPC Sawgrass. |

I have a couple friends through EKU PGM who have worked there in the past and thus played there. They all love it. There's a Par 3 on the back I know they all just loved. Don't remember what hole it is, but I'm sure you probably could formulate a guess. They also agreed that it's better than Sawgrass.

This particular pair isn't, but I'm sure there are people out there who could resole this and convert it into a golf shoe or make a custom cowhide golf shoe from scratch. |
