Played a Pete Dye course yesterday named Cherokee valley. Beautiful place, well maintained. One issue I had was that a number of the tee boxes slope from front to back ( holes 1, 2, 4, 7, 13, 14, and 17). I really struggled getting on my left side and the drives were less than ideal. Anything less than driver is fine, but with the driver, forget about it. Any advice?

On the tee boxes you described, I will add a few yards to the distance since the slant will loft the clubs slightly. With the driver, since you're having trouble transferring the weight, try moving the ball forward a touch and swing as normal. Same as you would with an uphill lie from the fairway.

Choke down 1 inch and keep weight in middle of stance rather than forward.

Move up to the senior tees, there always flat. if they were sloped we would fall down.
