Are you talking about the World Am? If so, there are a few guys on here who have played in it.

Yes that one and there's a few more that are like it during the year also. Just wandering if anyone would recommend going there and playing in them.

World AM overrated,but still fun,MB Classic just played was not good-played at some great courses,but all four rounds took MINIMUM 5 hrs 45 minutes!!! Loved format at MB Classic-2 man teams, first day better ball,second day shamble,third day both balls and final a scramble-BUT,way too slow-World AM plays individual and will penalize slow play-

Thanks Bob, I haven't played in any of the tournaments but I think next year I will play in the World Am and maybe the fall classic. I don't really like slow play but if everyone is backed up I can adjust. Thanks Lee

Have played the World Am, Its a lot of fun and courses are great. 19th Hole At the Convention center is also a good time. Plan on going again in august.

If you're in the military or retired military, there are tournaments the end of May each year that play 4 courses over 4 days. The retired Tourney is in its 34th year...

Thanks Ken, I haven't played in any of the tournaments yet but I am planning on going down this year. Maybe the first one I will play is the Calabash cup in July just to see if I like them . Then maybe play in August.
