MY GAME

I finally heard back from the USGA. I received an email saying we meet the criteria for a USGA golf club. I had to fill in some information and electronically sign it and send back. So we should have the information we need soon to become official.

I was up at Avalon today and spoke to Eric the head pro. I asked him the easiest way to make sure everyone plays the same course. He said the easiest way is when you call to make a tee time tell them you want to play NORTH and WEST courses for your 18. It will be easier to schedule and they can tell you the available times they have for those courses to be played. Hope that makes sense....so in a nutshell call sooner rather than later to make sure you get on the NORTH and WEST course.

We chose NORTH and WEST because they have the best greens right now. the South course has been punched and still has a lot of sand on it. Hope everyone had a good time at similk...see ya on the links! Also can somebody forward this to Cleave for some reason I don't have his e-mail address.

Not sure what the weather is going to be on Saturday 4/16 but Lake Padden is having their demo day at their course. I think Taylormade and Callaway reps will be out there with their clubs.

Submitted the application to the USGA and Washington State Golf Association. They have 30 days (i think) to review and approve the application. Once that is approved we will be certified and handicaps will be assigned after you have 5 rounds submitted
