12/4/2010 12:22:23 AM TPC Las Vegas (Canyons) is in awesome shape as usual and they have a toys for tots deal where you bring in a $20 toy and get a $30 rate for golf, they also have a 12 round package for $600 which makes rounds $50 as well and they just need to be played before Feb 13th. Boulder Creek greens are crazy fast and course is in great shape. Siena is average. Palm Valley is in pretty good shape, greens rolling true. Lets get some other updates from others as you play so we all know where the spots are because the golf shops will always tell you the course is in great shape and then you get there and its a different story. Thanks guys and hit them straight this holiday season. |

10/1/2010 11:12:19 PM Paiute is in great shape as usual. Played both Snow and Wolf this week and both are perfect from tee boxes to fairways to greens. |

9/24/2010 10:00:27 PM Badlands! Awesome shape from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Better than when they closed for overseeding and they are not cartpath only like most courses are right now. |

9/10/2010 10:24:38 PM Boulder City Muni in pretty good shape as always, played today (Friday) due to most courses currently overseeding. I'll keep posting conditions and would greatly appreciate any other input from others as they play courses so we all know whats good and whats horrible and especially green conditions, you guys know the routine. Thanks and hope all have a great weekend, weather is getting perfect again. |

8/15/2010 8:05:39 PM Local courses update : Legacy golf course in henderson just plugged greens so give it a week or so to come around but the rest of course is in great shape. Arroyo at Red Rock is in great shape, tough track, the rough is very rough but greens and course condition is in excellent shape. Paiute is in great shape as always and greens are rolling real fast, they are still a little high with their greens fees but on a nice day its worth it. Stay away from Rhodes for a little while but it should come around again soon, we all know its a great track but not in the best condition currently. I hear Sienna is also in great shape except for one hole. Hit em straight. Peace |

8/9/2010 1:26:42 PM After reading some blog entries about folks having trouble using their Stracka handicaps for tournament purposes, I thought I'd include the USGA Authorized Club lookup results for our club for your records. You can always print out the USGA seach results and take with you to circumvent handicap validation issues. The USGA link verifies that Las Vegas Area #155 is a USGA authorized golf club. http://www.usga.org/HDCPClubLi.. //Fro |

6/12/2010 2:19:09 AM Had a decent round at Silverstone but the course is not in the best condition and so i just wanted to let everyone know that there are much better courses for less with much better staff, etc. The only good thing i can honestly say good about todays round was that the GPS in the carts is nice but the greens were worse than some of the muni courses right now but if you call them they will tell you that their course is in the best condition ever. I have had good experiences in the past but after todays events i will not be returning to that course again even if its free. Just a heads up, if you're thinking about playing here, don't. |

5/20/2010 10:28:24 PM I've been using www.golfnow.com for about a month or two and it really is pretty good. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to book tee times online and save money by getting good online rates. The only time i ever call courses anymore is to find out how the condition of course is if needed before i book it online. Just wanted to pass a good thing on to fellow golfers. Thanks and hit em straight or with a slight draw.......... |

7/13/2009 8:41:03 AM This club is still in need of a chairman. Any takers? Chairman must take the seminar and be prepared to host 1 tournament a year. I am not from the LV area... so don't qualify. |
