When submitting the initial handicap verification form to the World Am, you may put n/a in the chairman phone number section. Spoke with Ryan today at WA and he said that was acceptable. Since they really can't call the chairman of an online handicap system (as that person may not know the player being called about), it does present an opportunity for someone to pad their handicap.

Shadow1949: Looking for a playing partner in the Charlotte/Huntersville area. I'm currently a 18/19 handicap, 68 yrs. old and would like to play at least once a week. Looks like the World Amateur want's the club chair's telephone # as part of the up front registration. Any idea how to get that for this form?

does anyone know if we are able to play in CGA sanctioned events? I am trying to figure out how to use this membership to apply to CGA regionals.

I just joined in order to establish a handicap but also would like to find people to play on occasion. I live in Mint Hill, work in South Charlotte, and do not have a regular group. Used to play a lot of golf, and am getting back into it.

Just joined, needed to get my index so I can play some member guest tournaments this year. Always ready to play some golf if anyone ever needs a 4th.
