10/22/2013 6:55:52 AM All, I am beginning the process of score review for the club. If you have not posted at least 3 attested scores this year you still have a couple months to do so. Members who are not in compliance risk being dropped from the club. Also details coming in the next week or so about a golf day! be on the look out for those details. Please let me know if you have any questions or issues. |

6/6/2010 12:45:56 AM Hey folks. I am moving back to San Diego this summer and need some help. I know I won't find golf out there for Texas prices but what are the best value courses (not counting executives)? |

4/7/2010 12:36:28 AM Hi All, I'm new here to Stracka. I live in downtown San Diego and hoping to meet some new golf buddies to play at Torrey Pines, Riverwalk, Coronado and other tracks in SD. Feel free to contact me to meet up. BTW- Is this San Diego Area #031 group part of the 'SCGA'? |

9/12/2009 7:31:53 PM Hey Gareth, First off enjoy your stay here in the states, and our fine city San Diego. I, woulf suggest 3 course. First would be Torrey Pines, Castle Creek in Escondido its north of San Diego, and finally Aviera in Carlsbad. Most of them will run anywhere between 70 and 120. Finally use golfnow.com for tee times. |

1/23/2009 11:25:37 PM Alright everyone, the USGA has accepted our application, so we are now an officially compliant USGA Type 3 golf club! One thing I was reminded of during the application process is that it is a requirement of a Type 3 golf club that members return, "at least three scores played with other club members during the season and at least one of those rounds must be played in a club sponsored event." We can discuss what we want our plans for club-sponsored events to be, but just keep in mind that it would be a good idea to find other people in the club that you would like to play with at some point in the season. And hey, that's a big part of the club's purpose in the first place anyway! Thanks everyone for joining, and as always, feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. -Alanement of a Type 3 golf club that members return, "at least three scores played with other club members during the season and at least one of those rounds must be played in a club sponsored event."
